Anurag Chaturvedi

Anurag joined aAIM in 2006. As Chief Executive of aAIM India, he spearheads the Group's Indian investments and related activities.

Prior to joining aAIM, Anurag was with the Principal Investments team at Barclays Capital and was closely involved in all aspects of the group's first equity investment. Earlier, Anurag led the Real Estate Investment team at KPMG Corporate Finance in Singapore and India. He advised global real estate majors on portfolio optimisation strategies, inbound and outbound investments and fund raising.

Before KPMG, Anurag was with CB Richard Ellis South Asia. He was instrumental in setting up the firm’s consulting practice in South India. As a qualified real estate valuer, Anurag valued over 50 commercial and hospitality properties across India and Sri Lanka.

Anurag has also worked as an Architect in India and has served on several bodies for conservation of historical monuments in India. Anurag received a Bachelors in Architecture from IIT Roorkee, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad and an MBA from INSEAD. He splits his time between India and the UK.
