As Chief Executive of aAIM Group, James Elton provides strategic corporate leadership to the group as well as overseeing the management and deals of aAIM's portfolio. James Elton joined aAIM Group in 2005 to head up aAIM UK where he was responsible for originating, executing and implementing its UK property investments as well as its global hospitality portfolio. He invested over £1 billion in a variety of property assets over 12 months.

A well connected entrepreneurial property investor James Elton has both operational and private equity expertise. He has been instrumental in creating value in an executive capacity with highly profitable private equity and property groups. In total, James's transaction values exceed £5 billion.

He has had significant success in a wide range of business sectors and countries particularly Scandinavia, Germany and the United States. His technical proficiency and ability to work with complex issues have helped him establish a first class track record in deal execution. He is also highly regarded for his competence in providing solutions and designing innovative financing techniques. James has also successfully delivered in a variety of management roles including Development Director of Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts Limited and Director of global financial services provider Nomura International plc.
